Capt. Jouett has addressed the secretary of War through the Adjutant Genl. stating that an arrangement had been made for the employment (<u>if necessary</u>) of the Aboit Draggoons (a company of mounted men). And I hope should it be found necessary to call them into service, that the department will be entirely satisfied with the arrangement.
