Contractor informs him that the Miamies refuse to assemble for emigration until they hear from their Chief, who visits Washington. | |||
As soon as action is had upon the Chief's application asks to be advised thereof--suggests that the Interpreter be directed to return. Contractor proposes to remove Weas for $50 each-there are upwards of 30. | |||
