Your remarks on the subject of the contract that received the sanction of the President last winter have been and will continue to be of very great service to me and by holding that matter suspended I shall be able to secure the aid of those interested in removing the Indians. If the necessary receipts should be tendered, I hope that matter will not be consummated at present. | |||
