The above is a list of Miami Indians who arrived here on the 5th of November 1846, and are placed under my charge by Joseph Sinclear the Superintendent of their emigration--they having been removed from Indiana to this point by Alexis Coquillard acting partner in the contract for emigrating the Miamis, entered into with the commissioner of Indian Affairs by Thomas Dowling on the 6th day of May 1844, and now held by assignment by Alexis Coquillard W.G. Ewing & G.W. Ewing & Samuel Edsall.
