Agent of Miami Indians : Dear Sir: Having became a contractor for collecting, subsisting, and removal of the Miami Tribe of Indians, now under your agency, I take occasion to inform you that I am prepared to furnish all the facilities necesary for those purposes, at which time, and under each conditions as may be deemed best calculated to advance the views of the general government, and, at the same time, carry out its just and humane ^intentions^ towards that tribe.
