Report of the Acting [illegible] for the Emigration of the Miami Indians, The undesigned big leave Respectfully to State that the first emigrating [illegible] of Miami is war started from Peru Indiana on the 6th of October 1846, [illegible] arrived at the Country set a [illegible] for them West of the Mississippi on the 9th of November 1846 as will appear by the [illegible] of Sab [illegible] [illegible], and the apart of the [illegible] of the Emigration Mr [illegible] - this heavily consisted 328 Indians and niches red all who could get hold of, of those who were [illegible] to the Emigration with the exhibition of some 28 or 30 who were permitted to [illegible] behind + gather their crops, under the assessment from their that as soon as that was accon without any [illegible] to the [illegible] or Government [illegible] they moved Emigration [illlegible] , this they failed to , do, and in the [illegible] of 1847
