For: Mr. Medell from office of Indian Affairs Washington, D.C Fort Wayne 12th May, 1847 Sir I beg leave to state to you that W.A. Coquilard (acting under Mr. Dowling's Miami removing contract) [has] wheresee I form the West, and desires to be in [illegible] and man [illegible]-br L- way of the Miamis [get in]?
