Joseph Sinclear, Subagent of the Miami Tribe of Indians.

Sir,

As you will go in a short time to WAshington City and see our Great Father, you would confer on me a great favor, if you would earnestly request the President of the United States to permit that my relations and connections should be allowed to stay with me and not to go to the country set apart for our tribe West of the Mississippi.
