Com. of Indian Affairs Dear Sir: In the performance of my contract with the government, dated May 6, 1844, I ferried to fortWayne, the residence of the agent for the Miami Indians, and, on the 27th of May, whe--ged(?) Mr. Hamilton, by letter, of my readiness to Co ordinate in all measures defering(?) when me by the said contract.
